Necklace 1908 Saint-Gaudens Gold Double Eagle (no motto)

Necklace - 1908 Saint-Gaudens Gold Double Eagle (no motto). Near Perfect Condition, Necklace was only worn only a few times. There is a slight dent in the front bezel adjacent to Ms. Liberty's left arm (see photo # 2). The 1908 Saint-Gaudens Gold Double Eagle necklace/pendent is a beautiful piece.

Fitted for an average woman's neck size. The piece shows absolutely no wear as it was only worn by me two or three times that I can remember. The piece was originally custom made for me in San Francisco in 1982. It has been kept in a Bank Safety Deposit Box since 2001.

The Coin Bezel and Neck Retainer Wire are solid gold. A local jeweler examined the piece recently and verified it's authenticity and that there were no defects other than a nearly unnoticeable small dent in the front bezel adjacent to Lady Liberty's left hand (pictured on photo #2).

I would recommend leaving the dent as it is, just in case the piece is ever stolen, it is an identifying mark to prove it is yours. There are no personal identifying markings anywhere on the piece or the storage case. Comes with the original Shreve & Co.
