This beautiful coin is dual certified by both PCGS and CAC. And it proudly wears the CAC green bean, mark of acceptance. This coin is on par with gems based on visual merit.

Vivid tangerine-gold luster engulfs the majority of this piece but leaves the right obverse and reverse margins with a crescent of iridescent yellow-gold color. The strike is boldly rendered, and a few trivial surface marks that limit the grade are not at all bothersome. I have to be honest with you, I'm questioning the decision to sell any of my CAC coins, but I need to determine what the market price really is, so I offer up this premium coin. If you're not interested in paying 2799, please step aside lets see if someone else comes forward who is.

I watch the auctions every week and I know what these are worth. All I'll say is been there, done that. Nice try, pick someone else to play with next time. Pay attention to the pages I extracted from the ANA book Grading Standards for United States coins. There are some tips in there that will help you understand the criteria a coin must meet to make the grade, and why it wouldn't make the grade, on a personal note the majority of the grade comes from the front (obverse), defects on the reverse tend to get overlooked.
