Each of the coins is beautiful, at least to our eyes, with no copper spots. For 100% accuracy in our description, on the 1926 coin we notice a small oil spot (smaller than a pin head and a bit larger than the tip of a pin) on the 4th sun ray to the left of Liberty's torch, and a similarly sized small spot on the lowest section of the eagle's feathers, just above the claw; there are also three very small pinhead spots at the bottom left of the reverse of the 1926 coin, at the base of the far left sun rays. These marks almost certainly would have come off if the coin had received a mild Palmolive rinse prior to submission to NGC. NGC had no problem with these minor marks, as they are common on Saints, and awarded the coin a well-deserved MS64 grade. Also, please note that the NGC logo on one of the 1924s (number ending in -004) shows rub on the left side. Again, these minor details are noted for 100% description accuracy. The NGC Certification numbers are: 1775780-004; 1837435-092; and, 1835145-110. The holders are in fine condition. Some experts say that graded Saint Gaudens coins are the best way to hold gold, because it is highly unlikely that numismatic coins would be included in any kind of official gold recall or prohibition such as the one ordered by President Roosevelt in 1933. Therefore, they view graded Saint Gaudens coins as being a safer investment than bullion coins. We leave it to viewers to decide if this is an important factor in your decision making.

With premiums on Saints now at historic lows, the reasons for acquiring them are more compelling than ever. We package all items with great care.
