1910-D $20 Saint Gaudens Gold Double Eagle Pre-33 PCGS MS65 Very Rare Flashy Gem
Fresh to the market and recently back from PCGS Certification. This better date is really tough to find in MS65 condition. Less than 429.000 coins were minted. To hind high grade Denver Mint coinage is near impossible. The denomination was created as a means of exhausting an overage in gold supply due to the 1849 California Gold Rush. They were never intended for general use in commerce as the amount easily equated to a month's wage during the time of issue - making them impractical to carry as a coin. PCGS encapsulation offers protection and guarantees the beautiful MS-65 condition of the coin. This specimen is nicer than the few gems Ive seen on the market. Conservatively graded in our opinion, PQ++. A MS65 is a pure value play, with plenty of future upside potential. Struck at the Denver Mint. Obverse: Depicts Liberty striding forward holding a torch and an olive branch with the U. Capitol building in the backdrop. Reverse: Features an eagle in flight against the sun in the background. Beautiful color and very rare in this condition. The item "1910-D $20 Saint Gaudens Gold Double Eagle Pre-33 PCGS MS65 Very Rare Flashy Gem" is in sale since Saturday, August 1, 2020.
